04:35 PM EDT, 08/18/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CoreCivic ( CXW ) said late Monday it named Patrick Swindle as chief executive officer and president, starting Jan. 1, 2026.

Swindle will succeed Damon Hininger and will also be named a board member on New Year's Day, the company said.

Swindle was most recently the chief operating officer, the company said.
