08:58 AM EDT, 09/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CoreCivic ( CXW ) said Monday it was awarded two contracts by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement for the use of 3,593 beds at two of its facilities in the US.

Once fully activated, the contract for the federal agency to use its 2,560-bed California City Immigration Processing Center is expected to generate around $130 million, while the contract for its 1,033-bed Midwest Regional Reception Center in Leavenworth, Kansas, is expected to generate about $60 million, the company said.

Shares were up 4% in recent premarket activity.
