09:26 AM EST, 03/06/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Corning (GLW), Heliene, and Suniva have signed a deal to bring the solar module made with polysilicon, wafers, and cells manufactured in the US to the US domestic market, Heliene and Suniva said Thursday.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

The solar module will be manufactured primarly in the US, with wafers and polysilicon being produced in Michigan and cells manufactured in Georgia, the parties said.

Corning will supply the wafers and will source Hemlock Semiconductor's hyper-pure polysilicon, the companies said.

Heliene manufactures solar PV modules, while Suniva produces monocrystalline silicon solar cells.
