10:23 AM EST, 11/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Corporacion America Airports ( CAAP ) said Wednesday that a consortium it formed with Amwaj International for Real-Estate Investments has signed an award agreement with the Government of Iraq to operate Baghdad International Airport.

The agreement follows an international tender process and grants the parties 90 days, extendable by mutual consent, to negotiate and finalize the public-private partnership agreement, the private airport operator said.

The deal is valued at $764 million, according to media reports last week.
