06:25 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Corrects the number of aircraft in Macquarie AirFinance's portfolio in the second paragraph.)
Boeing ( BA ) has secured an order for 30 737-8 Max jets from Macquarie AirFinance, an aircraft leasing affiliate of Australian financial conglomerate Macquarie, the companies said Tuesday.
The order increases Macquarie AirFinance's 737 Max portfolio to 70 aircraft.
The companies said the purchase was booked in July by an "unidentified" customer on Boeing's ( BA ) orders and deliveries website.
Lessor orders for the 737 Max now account for about a quarter of the airplane family's order book, they added.
