Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $4.14.

Revenue for the quarter ended Dec. 31 was $15.58 billion, up from $10.19 billion a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $15.47 billion.

Shares of Capital One Financial ( COF ) were down more than 4% in after-hours activity.
