HIVE Digital Technologies ( HIVE ) said late Sunday it has ordered 6,500 Avalon A1566 digital currency miners from Canaan Inc.'s ( CAN ) Singapore subsidiary, to upgrade its fleet of miners.

Financial terms weren't disclosed.

Canaan said 500 of the A1566 miners have been delivered and are scheduled for installation. The rest will be delivered in four monthly shipments of 1,500 units, from December through March, Canaan said.
