09:15 AM EDT, 06/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- (Corrects the fiscal 2026 guidance in the headline and the fifth paragraph.)

J.M. Smucker (SJM) reported fiscal Q4 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $2.31 per diluted share, down from $2.66 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $2.24.

Net sales for the quarter ended April 30 declined to $2.14 billion, down from $2.21 billion last year.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.18 billion.

The company said it expects fiscal 2026 adjusted EPS of $8.50 to $9.50. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $10.25.

Shares of the company were down by more than 8.7% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
