Plug Power ( PLUG ) reported a Q3 loss Tuesday of $0.25 per diluted share, narrowing from a loss of $0.47 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected a loss of $0.24.

Net revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $173.7 million, down from $198.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $210 million.

Shares of the company were down 2% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
