07:27 AM EST, 12/04/2025 (MT Newswires) -- The European Commission said Thursday it has approved the creation of a joint venture between US-based Corteva ( CTVA ) and the UK's BP (BP) that will focus on the production and supply of seeds, oilseeds, crude vegetable oil and sustainable aviation fuel.

The Commission said the deal does not raise competition concerns due to its negligible activity in the European Economic Area and limited combined market share.
