10:24 AM EST, 01/13/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Cosmos Health ( COSM ) said Monday it entered into a distribution agreement with Virax Biolabs ( VRAX ) to distribute Virax-branded Avian Influenza Virus Real-Time PCR Kits in major European and Gulf Cooperation Council markets.

Financial details weren't disclosed.

Cosmos Health ( COSM ) secures exclusive distribution rights for the kits in Greece and Cyprus and non-exclusive rights in European markets, including France, Portugal, Spain, The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway, Germany, Switzerland, and Austria.

Cosmos Health ( COSM ) said the non-exclusive rights also cover GCC countries Oman and Bahrain.

The agreement allows Cosmos Health ( COSM ) to import, sell, and distribute ViraxClear-branded kits in the specified territories, with Virax Biolabs ( VRAX ) handling regulatory compliance and providing necessary documentation for product registration and approval.

Shares of Cosmos Health ( COSM ) were down more than 6% in recent Monday trading, while Virax's were up 2.1%.
