04:38 PM EST, 01/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Costco Wholesale ( COST ) reported Wednesday net sales of $27.52 billion for the five weeks ended Jan. 5, up 9.9% from the same period last year.

December e-commerce sales were "positively impacted by an estimated 15 percentage points, due to Thanksgiving/Black Friday/Cyber Monday occurring a week later this year versus last year," the company said.
