04:38 PM EST, 11/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Costco Wholesale ( COST ) late Wednesday reported net sales of $20.03 billion during the four weeks ended Nov. 3, an increase of 7.2% over the same retail month in 2023.

Net sales through the first nine weeks of its current fiscal quarter rose 8% year over year to $44.65 billion, the warehouse retailer said.

The company said October results were negatively affected by a forward pull in sales driven by tropical storms and a strike by port workers the previous month.
