04:36 PM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Costco Wholesale ( COST ) reported late Wednesday net sales of $21.87 billion during the four weeks ended Dec. 1, an increase of 5.6% over the same retail month in 2023.

Net sales through the first twelve weeks of its fiscal quarter ended Nov. 24 rose 7.5% year over year to $60.99 billion, the warehouse retailer said.

The company said November results were negatively affected due to Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Cyber Monday occurring a week later this year versus last year.
