Coterie, a Portfolio Company of an American Pacific Group Affiliate, to be Acquired by Mammoth Brands
Oct 21, 2025 5:22 AM

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--

American Pacific Group (“APG”) announced today that Coterie, a portfolio company of an APG affiliate, will be acquired by Mammoth Brands.

APG, alongside investors Align Ventures, Sean Beckner, Beliade Consumer Partners, and others, partnered with Coterie to support the company’s mission of raising the standards in baby care through superior performance, safety, and transparency. Coterie has achieved remarkable growth, surpassing $200 million in net revenue over the past twelve months and earning the #1 Net Promoter Score in its category.

“Coterie embodies what we look for in a partner — a talented team, a differentiated product, and relentless focus on quality,” said Fraser Preston, Managing Partner at American Pacific Group. “Frank, Jess, Grace and the entire Coterie leadership team have built something truly special, redefining what parents can expect from a baby care brand. We’re proud to have supported their journey and are excited to see Mammoth Brands help accelerate the next phase of growth.”

Founded in 2019, Coterie has become one of the fastest-growing premium diaper and baby-care brands in the U.S., with a loyal community of hundreds of thousands of families. Under the current leadership of CEO Jess Frenchman Jacobs and President Grace Weingard, the company has set new standards in performance, transparency, and customer trust.

The acquisition by Mammoth Brands, the modern CPG company behind Harry’s, Flamingo, Lume, and Mando, represents a natural evolution for Coterie — pairing a category-disrupting brand and high-performance products with Mammoth’s proven omnichannel infrastructure and growth capabilities. The transaction, announced by Mammoth on October 16, 2025, is expected to close by year-end, subject to customary closing conditions.
