Coursera Shares Fall Pre-Bell as Company Cuts 2024 Revenue Guidance

08:44 AM EDT, 10/25/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Coursera ( COUR ) shares fell by more than 20% in premarket trading after the online learning company lowered its 2024 revenue outlook.

The company late Thursday reported Q3 non-GAAP earnings of $0.10 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $0.01 a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected non-GAAP earnings of $0.02.

Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $176.1 million, compared with $165.5 million a year earlier. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $174 million.

Coursera ( COUR ) lowered its full-year 2024 revenue guidance to $690 million to $694 million, from $695 million to $705 million previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expect $691.7 million.
