COVID-19 impact: Restaurant industry seeks govt intervention in form of policy support

Restaurants have been among the worst hit through the three waves of the COVID-19 pandemic. But even with the ECLGS being extended to include this sector, restaurants continue to face reluctance from financial institutions in being able to avail loans. CNBC-TV18's Shilpa Ranipeta reports that for Mumbai's restaurant sector this dire situation is being made worse by rising statutory and operational costs.
