04:59 PM EDT, 04/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Crane (CR) reported Q1 adjusted net income late Monday of $1.22 per diluted share, down from $1.26 a year earlier.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.13.
Sales for the quarter ended March 31, were $565.3 million, up from $513.8 million a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $546.4 million.
The company said it is raising full-year 2024 adjusted EPS guidance to $4.75 to $5.05 from $4.55 to $4.85 on sales growth of about 10%, up from 8% previously. Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $4.81.
Crane kept its quarterly dividend at $0.205 per share, payable on June 12 to shareholders of record on May 31.
The stock was up more than 3% in extended trading.
