Aug 14, 2025 7:37 AM

10:05 AM EDT, 08/14/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Credicorp ( BAP ) said Thursday about 1.6 billion Peruvian soles ($451.9 million) in tax and fine resolutions issued by Peru's tax authority in June have been cancelled.

The company said the cancellation eliminates any perception of an outstanding debt.

The dispute, disclosed June 30, involved assessments issued June 27 by SUNAT, Peru's tax authority, Credicorp ( BAP ) said.

The company said the cancellation does not change its view regarding the merit of the assessments, and it will keep challenging the resolutions through legal proceedings.
