Crescent Energy's Waiting Period to Acquire SilverBow Expires Under Hart-Scott-Rodino Act

09:16 AM EDT, 07/02/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Crescent Energy ( CRGY ) and SilverBow Resources ( SBOW ) said Tuesday the waiting period for Crescent's proposed acquisition of the latter has expired under the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act.

Shareholders' meetings of both companies will take place July 29, Crescent and SilverBow added.

The deal is expected to be completed soon after receiving approvals from both companies' shareholders.
