DUBLIN, Sept 24 (Reuters) - CRH CEO Albert
Manifold will be replaced by CFO Jim Mintern at the end of the
year as he retires after a decade in charge of the largest
building materials producer in the United States and Europe, the
company said on Tuesday.
Manifold moved the company's listing to New York from London
and has overseen several successive years of earnings growth.
Dublin-headquartered CRH is the largest building materials
supplier in the United States and generates about 75% of its
core earnings there.
Mintern has worked at CRH for 22 years, the company said.
"We are very pleased to have a successor of such calibre and
are confident that Jim is best positioned to lead the CRH team,"
Chairman Richie Bouche said in a statement, which said external
candidates had also been considered.
