Critical Metals Get Extension of Tanbreez Exploitation License in Greenland

10:51 AM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Critical Metals (CRML) got an extension of its exclusive exploitation license at the Tanbreez rare earth mine in Greenland from the government and completed of its diamond drilling program.

The Tanbreez project extension requires exploitation and closure plans by the end of 2025, financial security. a company guarantee by June 30, 2026, and the start of mineral exploitation by the end of 2028, Critical Metals said Tuesday in a statement.

A portion of the rare earth material extracted from the diamond drilling program at Tanbreez was sent to a laboratory in Ireland for analysis with results expected over the next several months, the company said.
