Critical One Energy Reports Initial Metallurgical Test Work Results for Khan Uranium Project in Namibia
Jan 2, 2025 4:50 AM

07:26 AM EST, 01/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Critical One Energy ( MMTLF ) , formerly known as Madison Metals, reported Thursday the results of initial metallurgical test work at its Khan uranium project in Namibia.

Critical One said the results demonstrate excellent uranium recovery rates and low acid consumption, reinforcing the project's potential as a high-quality, cost-efficient uranium asset.

The company said initial test work achieved recovery rates ranging from 71.1% to 86.6%. Acid consumption was measured at a maximum of 14.2 kilograms per tonne, significantly below regional benchmarks.

Low levels of niobium and tantalum also suggest limited betafite, enhancing processing simplicity, the company added.

"These results firmly position our Khan project as a game-changer in the uranium industry," said Duane Parnham, Critical One's executive chairman and CEO. "With exceptional recovery rates and unparalleled cost efficiency, we are advancing toward redefining what's possible in uranium production."
