May 7, 2024 4:39 AM

07:27 AM EDT, 05/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cronos Group ( CRON ) said Tuesday that it has entered the U.K. cannabis market by completing the first shipment of its cannabis flower product to GROW Pharma, a U.K.-based distributor of prescribed medicinal cannabis products.

The milestone, part of the company's expansion in international markets, comes after moves into the German and Australian markets last year.

"We will continue to push forward on new market growth opportunities and expand our portfolio of borderless products while growing our European footprint," Chairman, President and CEO Mike Gorenstein said.

Cronos ( CRON ) said it aims to provide high-quality premium cannabis products through its medical brand PEACE NATURALS.
