(Reuters) - The S&P Dow Jones Indices said on Friday that private equity firm KKR & Co ( KKR ), cybersecurity company CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) and internet services provider GoDaddy ( GDDY ) will join the benchmark S&P 500 before markets open on June 24.
Shares of CrowdStrike ( CRWD ) rose 6% in extended trading. KKR and GoDaddy ( GDDY ) climbed 9% and 3.6%, respectively.
The companies will replace recruitment services firm Robert Half, U.S. regional lender Comerica ( CMA ) and gene sequencing machine maker Illumina ( ILMN ) in the index.
Shares of Robert Half fell 2.2%. Comerica ( CMA ) was last down 0.4%, while Illumina ( ILMN ) was 0.6% lower.
