05:42 PM EST, 01/12/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Crown Castle ( CCI ) said late Monday it ended its infrastructure agreement with DISH Wireless after default on payments to the company.
DISH had earlier notified the company that it was discontinuing its network business after its parent company, EchoStar ( SATS ) , decided to sell public spectrum licenses, the company said.
Crown Castle ( CCI ) exercised its right to terminate the agreement and recover over $3.5 billion in payments owed. The company does not expect these actions to impact its 2025 financial results, according to a statement.
