Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $1.80.

Net sales for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was $3.074 billion, up from $3.069 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $3.061 billion.

The company expects Q4 adjusted EPS of $1.45 to $1.55, compared with analyst estimates of $1.53 in a Capital IQ poll.

For the full year, it now expects adjusted EPS of $6.25 to $6.35, up from $6.00 to $6.25 previously. Analysts expected $6.16.
