CSG Systems to Be Acquired by NEC in $2.9 Billion Deal; Shares Up Pre-Bell

04:29 AM EDT, 10/29/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CSG Systems International ( CSGS ) has agreed to be acquired by NEC for $80.70 per share in cash, representing a total enterprise value of about $2.9 billion, the companies said Wednesday.

The respective boards of both companies have approved the transaction, which is expected to be completed next year.

Shares of CSG were up 16% in recent premarket activity.
