08:48 AM EDT, 05/20/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cummins (CMI) said Monday it's zero-emissions segment Accelera launched the next generation of several of its decarbonising technologies, including hydrogen fuel cell engines, batteries, and eAxle, at this year's Advanced Clean Transportation Expo.
The company said the new hydrogen fuel cell engines offer increased power density for larger systems, improved system efficiency, and advanced durability.
The volume production of its new battery, with locally manufactured cells in the U.S., is planned for 2027, it added.
