Curtiss-Wright Gets $26 Million Contract by Belgian Air Force for Aircraft Arresting Systems

05:09 PM EDT, 09/03/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Curtiss-Wright ( CW ) late Tuesday said it has received a new contract valued at around $26 million to help the Belgian Air Force modernize its aircraft arresting systems.

Under terms of the multi-year agreement, Curtiss-Wright ( CW ) will provide new cable systems and related services at three Belgian airbases to support the upcoming delivery of Lockheed Martin's (LMT) F-35 Lightening II fighter jets.

The contract also calls on the company to supply spare parts and additional repair and overhaul services for military flights by the Belgian Air Force.
