CVS Health to lay off nearly 2,900 employees in cost-cutting push

Oct 1 (Reuters) - Health conglomerate CVS Health ( CVS )

said on Tuesday it will lay off about 2,900 employees, as it

aims to cut costs.

The job cuts represent less than 1% of the company's

workforce.
