09:54 AM EDT, 07/29/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cyclo Therapeutics ( CYTH ) said Monday it has been notified by the European Patent Office that it will be granted a European patent for its method of treating Alzheimer's disease.

The decision will be published on Aug. 21 and the patent will take effect on that date, the company said.

Shares of Cyclo Therapeutics ( CYTH ) were 2.6% lower in recent trading.
