05:28 PM EDT, 07/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- D2L (DTOL.TO) on Tuesday said it launched its Createspace software at its annual Fusion user conference.

The distance learning company said Createspace, is a learning and innovation tool that allows educators and course authors to create, edit, and collaborate on content in a dedicated space before publishing to learners.

D2L also introduced several new AI features. Accessibility+ is designed to help increase equity in education and remove barriers that learners face. The combination of AI-driven automation and human oversight is expected to help deliver learning experiences across all content types. D2L has also bolstered its H5P experience by expanding on generative AI features and allowing 56 languages to take place on the platform.

The company has provided several other material updates for the business. Included are additional features to its flagship D2L Brightspace learning platform. The updates involve improved visibility for parents, larger group enrollment capability, enhancements for testing, and the addition of D2L Academy, a centralized hub for learning resources for educators to capitalize on the full offering of D2L Brightspace.

D2L shares closed down $0.10 to $14.22 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
