10:28 AM EDT, 09/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Danaos ( DAC ) said Tuesday it has added $304 million to its contracted revenue backlog since its Q2 results on Aug. 4.

The additions consisted of about $164 million from forward charter fixtures for four existing vessels and around $140 million from charter fixtures for the two newbuilding orders, each with a five-year charter duration, the company said.

Danaos ( DAC ) said it ordered two additional 7,165-twenty-foot-equivalent-unit container vessels to be built at Dalian Shanhaiguan shipyard in China, expected to be delivered in Q3 of 2027.

Danaos ( DAC ) said its total contracted cash operating revenue, on the basis of concluded charter contracts, currently stands at $3.6 billion.
