03:59 PM EDT, 07/08/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Danaos ( DAC ) said Monday it added $616 million to its contracted revenue backlog and is expanding the orderbook with five newbuilding containerships.

The contract revenue backlog additions include $203 million in two-year charter fixtures for nine existing vessels and $413 million of charter fixtures for five newbuilding orders with an average duration of 4.8 years, the company said.

Danaos ( DAC ) shares fell 2.2% in late Monday trading.
