Danaos Prices $500 Million Private Notes Offering

05:42 PM EDT, 10/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Danaos ( DAC ) said late Thursday it priced a private offering of $500 million of 6.875% senior notes due 2032.

Net proceeds will be used to redeem in full its $262.8 million outstanding 8.5% senior notes due 2028 around March 1, 2026, and to repay outstanding amounts under senior credit facilities.

The company will also use the proceeds to cover transaction costs and for general corporate purposes, according to a statement.
