09:47 AM EDT, 10/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Danimer Scientific ( DNMR ) said Tuesday that it has named Richard Altice interim chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Altice succeeds Stephen Croskrey, who earlier announced his plans to retire after more than eight years as CEO. Croskrey will stay on as a special advisor until the end of the year to help with the transition, while Richard Hendrix will remain chairman of Danimer's board.

Altice is currently a Danimer director and former CEO and president of bioplastics manufacturer NatureWorks, Danimer said, adding it has launched a search for a permanent CEO.
