09:44 AM EDT, 10/30/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Daqo New Energy ( DQ ) said Wednesday it has named Xiaoyu Xu as deputy chief executive officer, effective immediately.

Xu had served as the company's investor relations director and board secretary since May last year, Daqo said, adding Xu has also served as a director since November last year.

Shares of the company were up 2.9% in early trading Wednesday.
