06:54 AM EDT, 08/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Daqo New Energy ( DQ ) reported Monday it swung to an adjusted loss of $1.50 per diluted American depositary share in Q2, compared with adjusted earnings of $1.75 a year earlier.

Analysts' estimates were not readily available for comparison.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $219.9 million, down from $636.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $334.9 million.

Shares of Daqo fell almost 5% in recent premarket trading on Monday.
