11:59 AM EDT, 06/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Datadog ( DDOG ) on Wednesday said it was introducing a beta version combining its Datadog Agent and OpenTelemetry Collector data analytics and routing applications without sacrificing the capabilities of either software platform.

The unified tools available for testing will allow its data center customers to monitor internal performance and other metrics using DataDog Agent while simultaneously receiving, processing and exporting telemetry data to and from multiple sources without running separate collectors.

DataDog ( DDOG ) shares were climbing more than 2% in late-morning trade on Wednesday.
