03:15 PM EDT, 10/28/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Datavault AI ( DVLT ) said Tuesday it agreed to acquire New Jersey-based API Media in an all-cash deal expected to close in December, expanding its AI-powered data activation and monetization platform.

API Media, a technology provider for major sporting events and enterprise clients, will continue operating under its existing brand. Datavault said the acquisition will enhance its data tokenization technologies and add expertise in multi-channel engagement and automation.

"This acquisition marks a decisive next step in scaling our proprietary data-monetization ecosystem," chief executive officer Nathaniel Bradley said.

Shares of Datavault AI ( DVLT ) fell 9% in Tuesday trading.
