Datavault AI to Acquire SanQtum Services; Agrees to Issue 7.5 Million Shares for IP Rights

07:41 AM EST, 01/05/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Datavault AI ( DVLT ) said in a regulatory statement Monday that it has agreed to acquire SanQtum infrastructure and cybersecurity services from AP Global, doing business as Available Infrastructure, under a services-based delivery model.

The agreement, which has an initial term of 12 months, includes a $250,000 upfront payment. The company plans to deploy the services across 100 cities throughout the US.

The company also said it has agreed to issue 7.5 million common shares in exchange for certain intellectual property rights.

As a result, the company will reduce the maximum aggregate amount of shares it will sell under its equity distribution agreement with Maxim Group to $42.5 million from $50 million.

Shares of the company rose more than 23% in recent premarket activity Monday.
