DataVault, Wellgistics Plan to Use Blockchain-enabled Smart Contracts for Prescription Drugs

09:58 AM EDT, 10/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- DataVault AI ( DVLT ) and Wellgistics Health ( WGRX ) said Wednesday they have entered into a non-binding letter of intent to implement manufacturer-to-patient blockchain-enabled smart contracts for the prescription drug industry.

The partnership aims to fully digitize tracking of prescription drugs from script to fulfillment, the companies said.

The two parties are considering a revenue-sharing arrangement from fees derived from the use of the PharmacyChain smart contracts by pharmacies, according to a statement.

DataVault shares were down more than 8% in recent trading Wednesday, while Wellgistics stock was rising more than 11%.
