11:58 AM EDT, 05/08/2025 (MT Newswires) -- D-Box Technologies ( DBOXF ) on Thursday said it is expanding its partnership with Cinemark Holdings ( CNK ) with the addition of over 70 D-BOX ( DBOXF ) haptic-enabled screens.

The rollout will happen across as many as 25 Cinemark theaters in the United States in the next eighteen months, mainly in theaters that do not currently have D-BOX ( DBOXF ).

The company said the expansion will increase Cinemark's worldwide D-BOX ( DBOXF ) presence to more than 500 auditoriums, further strengthening its position as the exhibitor with the highest D-BOX ( DBOXF ) penetration.

The company stated that the expansion represents "an increase of nearly 25% across new and existing markets in the U.S."

"This continued collaboration with Cinemark highlights a shared commitment to innovation and premium experiences," said Chief Executive Officer Sebastien Mailhot. "The fact that Cinemark is not only opening new D-BOX ( DBOXF ) locations but also expanding existing ones shows the strength of the format and the growing audience appetite for immersive entertainment."

D-Box ( DBOXF ) shares were last seen up $0.02 to $0.175 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
