April 1 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Monday:

** Russian lender Sovcombank said it had received

regulatory approval to acquire Home Bank, a leader in commodity

lending.

** Singapore's competition watchdog had looked into the

likelihood of the now-collapsed talks between Grab Holdings ( GRAB )

and Delivery Hero raising worries about

competition in the food delivery market, the regulator said .

** Nippon Steel ( NISTF ) intends to pursue its proposed

acquisition of U.S. Steel and wants its "deep roots" in

the United States to be recognised, its new president said -

remarks that come after U.S. President Joe Biden expressed

opposition to the deal.
