April 9 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Tuesday:

** A consortium including Hudson's Bay Company CEO Richard

Baker's investment firm NRDC Corp is set to take over German

department store chain Galeria Karstadt Kaufhof, two sources

familiar with the matter told Reuters.

** Hungary's government will acquire an 80% stake in

Budapest Airport, its economy minister said on the sidelines of

a conference.

** Eyewear maker EssilorLuxottica said it had

completed the acquisition of Washin Optical Co., a Japanese

optical retail with around 70 direct stores in the country.

** Bain Capital has sold its Axis Bank stake at

1,071 rupees ($12.87) per share to raise $429 million, according

to a source with direct knowledge of the matter.

** China's CDH Investments said it completed an investment

for a minority interest in grocery chain Bach Hoa Xanh, a unit

of Vietnam's biggest retail group by market value, Mobile World

.

** HSBC ( HSBC ), is selling its business in

Argentina and booking a $1 billion loss on the deal, the bank

said , as it continues to shrink its once globe-spanning empire

to focus on Asia.

** British insurer Aviva said it had completed the

453 million pound ($574 million) acquisition of AIG's UK

life insurance business, sealing the largest takeover under CEO

Amanda Blanc to date.

** Blackstone Inc ( BX ) is closing in on a deal to take

Hong Kong-listed skincare company L'Occitane International SA

private, Bloomberg News reported , citing people

familiar with the matter.
