July 2 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on Tuesday:

** Philippine fastfood firm Jollibee Foods Corp

will acquire a majority stake in privately held Compose Coffee,

a South Korean coffee chain, as part of a deal valuing the

target at $340 million, the company said.

** The Philippine unit of Japan's Universal Entertainment

Corp ( UETMF ) is no longer acquiring a majority stake in PH

Resorts' gaming project in the central Philippines, PH Resorts

said.

** Philippine-based Metro Pacific Tollways and Singapore

sovereign wealth fund GIC have taken a stake worth $1 billion in

a unit of Indonesian toll road operator PT Jasa Marga,

the Philippine firm's Hong Kong-listed parent First Pacific ( FPAFF )

said.

** Private equity firm Blackstone is nearing a deal

to sell Japanese supplement maker Alinamin Pharmaceutical to

North Asian buyout fund MBK Partners for 350 billion yen ($2.17

billion), a person with direct knowledge of the matter said.

** Billionaire Barry Diller's digital-media conglomerate IAC

is exploring a bid to take control of Paramount Global ( PARAA )

, the New York Times reported on Monday, citing four

people with knowledge of the matter.

** The outlook for new law firm mergers involving large

firms has quieted so far this year, even as the pace of

completed mergers picked up slightly in the first half of 2024.

** Hashed out in three-way talks between plane giants

and one of their key suppliers, Boeing's ( BA ) $4.7 billion

deal to buy back Spirit AeroSystems ( SPR ) is a rare triangular

deal born out of crisis.
