July 24 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Wednesday:

** Ascential Plc's ( AIAPF ) shares soared over 26% to an

all-time high after events organiser Informa ( IFPJF ) agreed to

buy the owner of the Cannes Lions Festival for 1.2 billion

pounds ($1.55 billion).

** Australia's Peak Rare Earths ( PKREF ) said Chinese miner

Shenghe Resources would acquire a 50% stake in an

U.K.-based firm that owns 84% of its Ngualla project in

Tanzania.

** Robert Bosch has agreed to acquire Johnson Controls' ( JCI )

and Hitachi's ( HTHIF ) residential ventilation

businesses for $8 billion, it said on Tuesday, in what will be

the German engineering group's largest takeover to date.

** Isaac Perlmutter, one of the largest investors in Walt

Disney ( DIS ), has sold his entire stake in the media company

after losing the proxy fight, the Wall Street Journal reported

on Tuesday.

** Israeli cybersecurity startup Wiz has ended talks with

Google-parent Alphabet on a reported $23 billion deal

that would have made it the U.S. tech giant's largest-ever

acquisition, according to a Wiz memo seen by Reuters.
