Aug 8 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Thursday:

** Swedish financial investor EQT said on

Wednesday it will acquire a majority stake in Swiss

cybersecurity and data protection company Acronis.

** U.S. private equity firm KKR & Co ( KKR ) will launch a

tender offer for Japan's Fuji Soft, the companies said,

in a 558.4 billion yen ($3.8 billion) deal to take the software

developer private.

** Savannah Energy said on Wednesday it has

terminated the planned $1.25 billion purchase of Malaysia's

state energy firm Petronas' oil and gas business in South Sudan,

as the parties could not close the deal on the originally

envisaged terms.

** UK's competition regulator said its phase 1 review into

homebuilder Barratt's 2.52 billion pound ($3.21

billion) all-stock deal to buy smaller rival Redrow ( RDWWF ) had

raised concerns in the local area around a Barratt development.

** Australia's Pacific Smiles ( PCSGF ) said its shareholders

have voted against National Dental Care's (NDC) A$327.1 million

($214.5 million) takeover offer.

** Walt Disney ( DIS ) said on Wednesday it may have to pay

up to $5 billion more to buy Comcast's ( CMCSA ) minority stake

in Hulu, if an appraiser were to agree with Comcast's ( CMCSA ) assessment

that the stake should be valued at more than $40 billion.

** Equity Residential ( EQR ) has agreed to acquire 11

apartment properties located in its expansion markets such as

Atlanta and Denver from Blackstone for about $964

million, the companies said on Wednesday.
