Aug 21 (Reuters) - The following bids, mergers,

acquisitions and disposals were reported by 0930 GMT on

Wednesday:

** Walmart ( WMT ), the biggest shareholder of Chinese

e-commerce firm JD.com ( JD ) , has sold its entire

stake, according to a person familiar with the matter, exiting

an eight-year investment to focus on its own operations in

China.

** British transport company Mobico ( NXPGF ) said it has

initiated the sale process for its North American school bus

business in an attempt to cut debt.

** Coal producer Arch Resources ( ARCH ) is nearing an

agreement to merge with Consol Energy ( CEIX ) in a deal that

could create a $5 billion coal mining company, Bloomberg News

reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with the matter.
